We’re watching (or rather re-watching) Stargate Atlantis on DVD at the moment.

We’re a bit impatient at the ad for Stargate SG One that is shown before the menu. Who, that is watching SG Atlantis on DVD has not heard of or watched SG1? Ok, maybe some people.

But what comes next is just plain ridiculous. It’s an ad for Stargate – wait for it – Atlantis!!!

Hang on a minute, isn’t that the show we are about to watch ?!. Duh.

Maybe the marketing droids thought we needed to be reminded of what we we’re watching – before we watch it.

Tell me it was a screw-up, please!

Specifically the onion marmalade.

While yummy tasting and have to admit it goes great with ham sandwiches, it took us quite some time to reach this conclusion.

Who Are They Trying To Keep Out of the Jar. It’s an onion spread, not a lethal explosive.

This jar was insanely hard to open. I gave up trying to open it and gave it to Mr Noodle to try and open with his larger hands (and hence more leverage). However, after several minutes and possibly a small hernia we had to resort to the hot water and can opener treatment.

Seriously, if two able bodied people are unable to open the jar, how is anyone elderly, injured or otherwise physically challenged supposed to?
